Terms of Service

By accessing or using PokeROI (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

PokeROI is a financial record-keeping tool that helps Pokemon TCG collectors and resellers track cost basis, generate tax reports, and calculate grading ROI. The Service is a tool to help you organize your financial records; it is not a tax preparation service, accounting firm, or financial advisor.

Tax laws are complex and vary by jurisdiction. PokeROI's calculations are based on general interpretations of IRS rules for collectibles. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all information with a qualified tax professional before filing.

You must create an account to use the Service. Authentication is handled by Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at privacy@pokeroi.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

Paid subscriptions (Collector, Trader, Vendor, and Pro plans) are billed annually via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Billing Portal in your Settings page. Upon cancellation, your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent transaction limits or subscription tier restrictions
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service's APIs
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Service
• Share your account credentials with others

The PokeROI platform, including its code, design, and functionality, is owned by PokeROI and protected by intellectual property laws.

You own the financial data you enter into the Service. We do not claim ownership of your transaction records. You may export your data at any time.

Pokémon and all related names are trademarks of Nintendo/Creatures Inc./GAME FREAK inc. PokeROI is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo or The Pokémon Company.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT TAX CALCULATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC SITUATION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POKEROI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY TAX ASSESSMENTS, PENALTIES, OR INTEREST RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE'S OUTPUT.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [User's State], United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [User's State].
